May Alajlan

May is an associate with expertise in capital markets, finance and M&A.
 
She has experience with both equity capital markets, including advising Arabian Drilling Company in connection with its SAR 2.67 billion IPO on the Saudi Exchange and current representation of several issuers in connection with their initial public offerings on the Saudi Exchange, as well as debt capital markets, representing multiple issuers in connection with their Sukuk issuances, including advising Bank AlJazira on the issuance of its Tier 2 Sukuk worth SAR 2 billion. In addition, she has been involved in a range of conventional and Islamic finance transactions, representing both lenders and borrowers, including advising the Real Estate Development Fund (REDF) on the funding partnership agreement, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, with the Saudi Real Estate Refinance Company (SRC) to refinance a real estate portfolio owned by the REDF with a total value of SAR 10 billion. May’s experience also includes mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate matters.
 
Prior to joining STAT, May worked in an international law firm. She speaks both English and Arabic with native fluency and is able to draft and negotiate legal documents in both languages.


Wejdan Aljohani

Wejdan is specialized in regulatory, finance and corporate. She has experience advising clients on public policy, project finance, corporate governance, and antitrust matters. Wejdan works primely on corporate and real estate financing transactions.


Nora Alouda

Nora is an associate in our Capital Markets and Corporate practices. She advises Saudi and international clients on broad array of capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings (IPO) on the Main Market and Parallel Market, rights issues and direct listings. Nora’s broad industry experience includes the oil and gas, financial services, manufacturing, power, F&B and agriculture sectors.

Nora also regularly advices publicly traded companies on general corporate and securities law matters, including corporate governance issues, reporting obligations, and Stock Exchange and Capital Market Authority rules and regulations.


Reem Alomran

Reem has a sound experience in Saudi Arabia and advises clients regularly in key business sectors including Commercial Law, Labor Law, government procurement and competition laws, Bankruptcy Law and other basic Laws and Regulations enforced in the Kingdom.

Reem has an extensive experience in compliance matters, corporate governance, and setting the Legal Framework for government entities, starting from providing the legal support to set their organizational structure, DOA Matrix and establishing the core processes and procedures in a manner that is aligned with Saudi Laws and Regulations and best practices.

Also, Reem participated in structuring, drafting and amending of various Laws and Regulations and policies in different sectors and government entities in the Kingdom.


Maheen Shaikh

Maheen Shaikh is a banking and finance Associate at STAT Law Firm.

Maheen specializes in banking, Islamic financing and banking regulatory transaction. Maheen regularly advises financial institutions and large corporate entities.

Previously, Maheen worked at Vellani & Vellani as an associate in the Banking & Finance department.

Maheen speaks in both English and Urdu with native fluency and can negotiate and draft legal documents in both languages.

Faisal is a corporate and capital markets associate. Faisal advises Saudi and international clients on corporate M&A, corporate restructuring and joint ventures, in addition to advising fund managers on the structuring, establishment and operation of public and private investment funds.


Abdullatif Alharbi

Abdullatif is a member of the Saudi Arabian Bar Association, and he specializes in banking and finance matters including project finance, conventional and Islamic finance and syndicated lending.  He represents both borrowers and lenders including banks, and corporate clients.


Rahaf Alaskar

Rahaf has experience in Saudi Arabia working on teams advising clients across a broad range of corporate and capital market matters. Rahaf’s experience includes mergers and acquisitions, investment funds, general corporate advisory as well as employment matters.


Reema Balghoneim

Reema is specialized in Capital Markets and corporate transactions, with experience in advising clients on equity capital markets transactions including IPOs, direct listings and other securities offerings.
 
Reema’s experience also includes a wide range of corporate and finance transactions including general corporate, corporate governance, and financial transactions including those conducted on an Islamic basis, for lenders and borrowers.


Sara Alrehaili

Sara is a member of STAT Law Firm’s capital markets team. She assists clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, including IPO’s and equity capital markets transactions. Sara is admitted to practice in the state of New York, as she passed the NY Bar and satisfied all the admission requirements.
 
Prior to joining STAT, Sara gained international experience working as a legal intern at two legal non-profits based in Boston, where she assisted clients in various legal areas including intellectual property, contracts, real property, corporate, and employment disputes.


Mosab Almoqbel

Mosab is experienced in corporate matters and transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and foreign investment. Mosab is also experienced in the public sector by advising several government entities on various projects, including structuring and drafting of a number of regulations, policies, agreements and contracts.


Saud Alshaikh
