Robert Vydra

Robert Vydra is a partner in our Saudi Arabian Capital Markets practice. He has been practising in Saudi Arabia since 2007 and has worked on several dozen public and private offerings of securities. Many of the IPOs and other offerings on which Robert has worked rank among the largest and most high-profile securities offerings in the Saudi market.

Robert regularly provides advice on innovative and “first-ever” deals, such as the first Rule 144A securities offering out of Saudi Arabia, the first securities offering out of the GCC qualifying as Lower Tier II capital for regulatory purposes or the first public takeover transaction in Saudi Arabia.

Mansour Alobaidallah

Mansour is specialized in corporate and capital markets. Mansour advises and represents government stakeholders, Saudi and international clients.
 
Mansour’s practice focuses primely on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, competition, investment funds, general corporate, foreign investments, commercial disputes and employment matters. Mansour also has significant experience advising clients on real estate developments, franchises and agencies, e-commerce and logistics businesses, information technology services, corporate governance, and other commercial matters.
 
Mansour is a qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia, licensed by the Ministry of Justice and is a member of the Saudi Arabian Bar Association.


Yasser Alkhelaiwi

Yasser Alkhelaiwi is a counsel in our Saudi Arabian Capital Markets practice. He has extensive experience in advising regional clients in the securities and equity capital markets transactions in Saudi Arabia. In addition, Yasser’s experience also includes advising clients in relation to mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, governance and restructuring matters, and litigation.

Yasser is a qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia, licensed by the Ministry of Justice and is a member of the Saudi Arabian Bar Association.


Anna Leung

Anna Leung is a counsel in our Capital Markets practice. She has advised both issuers and managers on a range of capital markets transactions including IPOs, debt capital markets transactions, project bonds and securitisation.

Anna has worked on many high-profile transactions including the first Rule 144a securities offering by Saudi Aramco, Saudi Aramco’s iconic IPO, the first Sukuk offering by the Kingdom’s Ministry of Finance and the first 144a corporate bond offering by a Kuwaiti corporate.


Mariya McDonnell

Mariya McDonnell is a counsel in our Capital Markets practice. As part of her private practice experience, Mariya has advised both sovereign and corporate issuers and managers on debt capital markets transactions and liability management transactions in Europe, the CIS, Middle East and Africa. She also has extensive capital markets in-house legal counsel experience at a global investment bank in London, UK.

Immediately prior to joining STAT, Mariya worked at a Saudi firm advising PIF companies and giga-projects on corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance matters.


Faisal Alfuraih

Faisal is a corporate and capital markets associate. Faisal advises Saudi and international clients on corporate M&A, corporate restructuring and joint ventures, in addition to advising fund managers on the structuring, establishment and operation of public and private investment funds.


Rema Almadhi

Reema has an experience in the Capital Market transactions and deals with all issues related to the Saudi Capital Markets Law and its implementing regulations. Reema’s experience includes preparing prospectuses and legal due diligence reports. Also, conducting legal research by utilizing various resources.


Shoug AlShaiban

Shoug is a driven Associate in our Equity Capital Markets Practice, focusing on Initial Public Offering of both Main and Parallel Markets. Shoug has experience in assisting clients to facilitate the process of an IPO and ensures outstanding quality work in Legal Due Diligence Reports and Prospectuses.


Aljoharah Altuwaijri

Aljoharah is an Associate in the capital markets practice, she assists issuers on equity capital markets transactions such as initial public offerings (IPOs), on the main and parallel market, by conducting legal due diligence exercises and drafting bilingual prospectuses, in both English and Arabic.

Aljoharah is currently training to become a licensed lawyer in Saudi Arabia.


Rilwan Shittu

Rilwan is a corporate, finance and capital markets Associate at the firm. He has experience advising on finance, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions transactions across various industries. He has also provided legal and commerical advisory support to corporates, individuals and government entities across Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Prior to joining STAT he was an Associate in the Finance group at the London office of a leading international law firm where he advised corporate issuers and financial institutions in connection with Rule 144A/Regulation S securities offerings, private placement transactions and U.S. SEC-registered offerings.

Rilwan also worked briefly with the Legal Operations and Policy Group at the World Bank as a Legal Consultant.

Her expertise spans multiple sectors, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Saudi Arabia's evolving legal and regulatory landscape, particularly in relation to Capital Market Authority regulations and listing requirements. Her track record includes advising on high-profile capital market transactions and complex regulatory matters.


Dima Alrakayan

Dima has obtained a certificate from Capital Market Authority (CMA) for passing the Capital Market Authority Examination (CME-1B) covering the General Saudi Capital Market Rules and Regulations.
