Richard, a senior counsel in the Banking and Islamic Finance practice, has extensive experience advising international and regional banks, funds, and corporates. He advises in relation to derivatives (both conventional and Islamic), Islamic finance transactions, regulatory capital transactions, and structured product issuances.
Prior to joining STAT, Richard practiced with several major US and UK law firms and has spent time on secondment with several investment banks. He is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales. Legal 500 notes he has “significant experience advising banks and corporations across a broad range of OTC derivatives and structured products.”
