Faris Al Amoudi is a banking and Islamic finance Partner at STAT Law Firm. Faris has been involved in a range of banking (conventional and Islamic) and debt capital markets experience including advising large corporate entities, investment banking clients and governments and government related entities in relation to sovereign lending, corporate financing, debt restructuring, acquisition financing, real estate financing, investment grade lending, Islamic derivatives and MTN and Sukuk issuances both in the GCC and Europe.

Faris has given speeches at conferences in the MENA region, including a seminar hosted by the Dubai International Financial Centre on the impact of Basel III on capital markets deals (conventional and Islamic) and a seminar in Egypt on the practical aspects of sukuk transactions sponsored by the Egyptian Ministry of Finance and the Islamic Development Bank.
